Rural Tax Attorney - Carlisle, PA

MidPenn Legal Services has an opening for a Staff Attorney to work on a grant providing tax controversy services and outreach/community education to individuals in our rural counties of Bedford, Blair, Centre, Clearfield, Huntingdon, Juniata, Mifflin and Schuylkill.  The Rural Tax Attorney position is located in our Carlisle Office.  Candidates must be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and have a commitment to the provision of high quality legal services. Mortgage Foreclosure Attorney - Gettysburg, PA

MidPenn Legal Services has an opening for a Staff Attorney to work on a one year grant providing mortgage foreclosure services to income eligible individuals.  The position is located in our Gettysburg Office. MidPenn Legal Services has two openings for a Support Staff person to work in its Chambersburg office and Reading Office as part of its Coordinated Intake Unit. Candidates for this position must have a pleasant phone manner, positive interaction skills with clients of diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated proficiency in word processing. Responsibilities include answering telephones, greeting clients, scheduling appointments, screening clients for eligibility and conflicts, and other clerical duties as required. The Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Staff Attorney open position is located in Altoona, PA. The attorney will provide legal advice and representation to individuals in specific areas outlined in the grant including protection from abuse, sexual violence and intimidation; custody; housing; and consumer.
