Staff Attorney - Lewistown, PA

MidPenn Legal Services has an opening for a Staff Attorney to work in its Lewistown, Pennsylvania office. The attorney would provide legal advice and representation to income eligible individuals in a variety of substantive areas related to housing, consumer, public benefits and family law. Telephone Advice Attorney

MidPenn Legal Services has an opening for a Telephone Advice Attorney. The attorney in this position will provide legal advice and information to income eligible individuals in the legal substantive areas related to housing and consumer law. The attorney in this position will NOT provide any extended service representation in Court or before Administrative Agencies. Candidate should be a highly motivated individual who is passionate and strongly committed to helping the disadvantaged in the community. Candidates must be admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania One to four years of experience preferred. Bilingual ability (English/ Spanish) is preferred. MidPenn is an EEO Employer. The position requires the attorney to provide community education and outreach about MidPenn services. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate and strongly committed to helping the disadvantaged in the community. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. Victims of Crime Act Attorney – Altoona, PA

MidPenn Legal Services an opening for a Staff Attorney to work on a two-year grant for services to victims of crime primarily elder abuse victims and victims of domestic and sexual violence. The VOCA Staff Attorney open position is located in Altoona, PA. The attorney will provide legal advice and representation to individuals in specific areas outlined in the grant including protection from abuse, sexual violence and intimidation; custody; housing; and consumer.
